    Increases my awareness of time passing

    I have horrible time blindness. I can take hours to get ready and not notice that more than a few minutes has passed. I can procrastinate for what feels like 20 minutes and the reality is that I have lost most of the day. I set this timer and it immediately makes me more aware of how much time I’m wasting. It’s also a soothing color, the red would probably stress me out so I appreciate that I could get this is a color I love so it doesn’t feel negative to track the passing of time. I sent one to my sister who also struggles with ADHD and needed a visual way to show that 20 minutes committed to a task is not too daunting so she keeps with her goals. I originally tried the app and I’m so glad I upgraded a physical clock because I can see it even when I navigate away from the time app on my phone.

    Improved design; quiet; and portable

    I ordered several of these Time Timers in various colors. They are boxed up really well and the colors are very calming and pretty-I loved the peony pink, blue, green, and coral/dreamsicle. The timers were smaller than I expected but are easy to transport and arrange on a shelf, table top, desk, or windowsill. They are quiet and you can turn the alarm sound on or off with a switch on the back. The thing I loved the most is that the design of Time Timers has really improved over the years. There is a plastic cover over the colored clock face and the dial to set the time is easy to manipulate to set the desired time. It is nice also that it only takes 1 AA battery to run. I am considering ordering more because I think the 5 min/30 min/120 min timers would be very helpful also. Using a visual timer is really helpful for supporting task initiation, transitions, and bringing closure to tasks as well. I am re-appreciating Time Timers again at work and for home use. Simple, yet very helpful, for supporting improved time management skills. Thank you!!
