    Great Timer for single use per day

    The Time Timer is great for classroom use. I appreciate the size for every student to see in class. The problem I noticed is the frequent use in one class period. After changing the batteries, I noticed the red part of the timer wasn't showing up anymore after setting the timer. I could hear the ring when I would return to the 0, but I do not see the red part. On a regular basis, for my 50 minute class period, I would set the timer for the warm-up, guided notes and for the end of class. I teach 5 classes, therefore on a daily basis, I would set the timer at least 15 times a day. I am wondering if that was too much or I over used it. Overall, it is a great timer.

    Question: wall clock

    Does this clock happen to start back over again each hour? Do you have a product that does that? We're looking for something to replace our classroom analog clock. We have middle and high school students, some who can't read an analog clock. The students want a digital clock but I'd rather get a clock that helped them track the time visually. As a math teacher, I'm worried about the loss of the constant fraction work reading an analogue clock cements in students heads.

    Hi Lizzy. This clock does not automatically start over every hour. It would have to be manually reset. You can check out our Time Timer Desktop App - you can set reoccurring timers within the app (and run multiple timers at once). Many teachers have used it on a projector or smartboard in this fashion. We'll let the product team know your feedback, and in the meantime we hope this helps!

    Great for Elementary School Program

    This timer is great for focusing elementary students and keeping them on task. My organization, LEAD Training, uses the timers for social-emotional skill programs. Students have really taken responsibility for their time management. It's now a leadership role to set the timer and transport it if we move classroom locations. The afterschool programs I collaborate with also use it and have said it's beneficial for students to stay on task during homework and snack time. I highly recommend this product!

    Beautiful but didn’t last !

    I bought this product for my class and it lasted 1 week. The red part is now stuck behind the clear glass :(
